Gordon Brown - Time for Bold Labour Politics

It was a privilege to be at the Bridgewater Hall to see Gordon Brown confirmed as our leader and next Prime Minister yesterday. A historical and proud day for the city of Manchester and our country.

I came away from the leadership conference feeling reinvigorated and sure that Gordon Brown will renew our party, restore faith in politics and deliver a socially just Britain.

I agree Mike, even though I've never been Gordon's biggest fan I left feeling really proud and optimistic.

Optimistic that he will be tough on crime whilst safeguarding our civil liberties. Labour is the only party that believes in freedom and liberty as well as social justice.

Optimistic that he can deliver on the enviromental agenda and safeguard our planet.

Optimistic that he will finally allow councils to keep the money from right to buy.

On all these issues he proved himself as the person that will definitely deliver for Manchester.

Here here. Gordon is certainly a step in the right direction. The conference was great, even if just for the TUC freebies.
